Jessica Mauboy will headline Tumbafest in its 25th anniversary year.
The multi-ARIA award winning singer and songwriter will hit the main stage at the 2022 event, performing all her hits and perhaps sharing a taste of her new music that will be released later in 2022.
Fresh from her role as a coach on The Voice and right before she heads off on her national The Boss Lady Tour, Tumbafest fans will get to see her up close and personal, helping to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the festival.
Tumbafest president Andrew Rae said the committee had been bursting with excitement to announce its headline act.
“The Tumbafest committee is dedicated to consistently enhancing the quality of music each year and have worked extremely hard to secure the lineup for the 25th anniversary star studded event, including headliner Jessica Mauboy,” Committee President Andrew Rae said.
Mauboy, prone to an impromptu acapella and a raucous and instantly recognisable laugh, burst onto TV in 2006. Since then, she has appeared on TV and film and has had six top 10 albums, 16 top twenty singles and a whopping 600 million + streams.
The Little Things and Pop a Bottle singer said: “I can’t wait to see you all and perform live with my band. We’ll be playing all the fan favourites and new music too.”
Joining the 25th anniversary celebrations are The Wolfe Brothers, Fanny Lumsden, Hurricane Fall, Southbound and Mollie Waters. You can view the full line up at tumbafest.com.au
