Plans to rehabilitate popular tourist stop

A team effort is being planned to help one of the area’s major tourist attractions. Paddy’s River Falls viewing area was heavily damaged in the Dunn’s Rd fires. A combined effort is being planned involving SVC, Mountain Landcare and other local groups. Through funding from the Australian Government’s Wildlife and Habitat Community grant Landcare will help with habitat log distribution and revegetation. After losing the Sugar Pine walk, Paddys River Falls is now one of the main tourist attractions. There are plans for regular working bees and anyone wanting to get involved and help can keep an eye on the Mountain Landcare Facebook group or contact Rob Golgini on 0400 589 780.
